This is the last of a series of four readers, begun with American Folktales I, and continuing with American Folktales II and International Folktales I. Although each volume can be used independently, in terms of vocabulary, and to a lesser extent, structure, the four books were designed to be used in the above order, the two volumes of International Folktales being on a somewhat more difficult plane than American Folktales.
